ABOUT NEW YEAR NEW YOU

“New Year, New You” was founded in 2012 with several goals in mind. We wanted to help someone who truly deserved, needed, and wanted to make a change. We wanted to inspire a community and empower people to make a difference in those around them. Most importantly, we wanted to give back and raise awareness for our cause, SHINE (Support and Help In Nutrition and Exercise) at Children’s of Alabama. Since its inception, we have raised over $200,000, recently added an exercise and activity area for the clinic, and helped reshape the lives of so many, but we are just scratching the surface of what is possible. Together, we can continue to make a positive impact in the lives of those around us!

The Giveaway

What’s the prize and how can you enter? Each year, we run a contest in December with the winner receiving 7 free months of one-on-one personal training, accountability, and nutritional guidance with our talented team of professionals to encourage and guide the winner in their journey.

The Reveal Party

At Meta Fitness Studio, the slogan, “Transformation. Together.” applies not only to self-improvement, but helping others live their best lives. Each year we celebrate our “New Year, New You” winner as they reveal their amazing transformation after 7 months of dedicated hard work. Their inspiring story is the highlight of our event, which benefits SHINE at Children’s of Alabama. We are honored to partner with SHINE for this special night, as they seek to reduce obesity and improve the quality of life of children in Alabama. In addition to the big reveal, our guests will enjoy great food, music, and the opportunity to bid in a silent auction full of amazing items, with all proceeds benefitting SHINE.
